Provides clinical nutrition support services to patients through Food Service. Monitors nutritional care, manages physician ordered therapeutic diets and provides nutritional education to patients. Directs, supervises and coordinates diet office activities. Processes information generated from patient, medical records, nursing and ancillary staff for utilization in the accurate identification, assessment and evaluation of the patient’s nutritional needs.

B.S. degree from an accredited college or university with a major in food, nutrition, or institutional management and any additional education as required by the American Dietetic Association. Required Certifications/Licensure: Registration as a Registered Dietitian by the American Dietetic Association. Required Course(S) Training: Maricopa County Food Handlers Card required within 30 days of hire date.
