MassBay Community College seeks up to five part-time eTutors. This position is intended to support the College’s effort towards piloting the Digication Assessment Management system. The incumbent will directly assist faculty, staff, and students in the implementation of Digication by providing technical support and answering IT related questions during the academic semester. S/he will also assist the Director of Assessment in evaluating Digication as a tool for measuring student learning outcomes by organizing and synthesizing faculty, staff, and student experiences throughout the pilot program.

Responsibilities and Duties: •
Assisting faculty, staff, and students in the development and maintenance of Digication e-Portfolios; •
Assisting faculty, staff, and students in the implementation of Digication as an Assessment Management System; •
Working directly with students during pre-defined office hours to maximize student success; •
Assisting in the development of Digication workshops for faculty and staff; •
Disseminating information to appropriate audiences; •
Organizing and synthesizing faculty, staff, and student experiences following the Digication pilot; •
Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: • High School Diploma required, Associate’s Degree preferred; •
Experience using an e-portfolio management system required, Digication preferable; •
Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of applications required; •
Excellent written and oral communication skills required; •
Ability to synthesize, summarize, interpret, and report information required; •
Ability to work independently and as part of teams required;
Additional Desired Attributes: •
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; •
Experience teaching or tutoring preferred; •
Knowledge of assessment principles in higher education desirable;
