Digital Advertising Sales Manager

Our ideal candidate has deep sales experience selling online advertising (with mobile ad sales experience preferred) to ad agencies and direct clients as part of a premium publisher.

Position Summary
TuneIn is looking for a high energy salesperson with a proven track record of driving online ad sales, growing revenue, and exceeding quotas. The Sales Manager must be a self-starter that is able to work independently to close business and accomplish goals. The ideal candidate has experience working with senior level clients and agency contacts to present advertising solutions and sell the value of TuneIn.

Responsibilities

The Sales Manager must be able to:
  • Develop a Successful Sales Strategy: Build a plan that leverages TuneIn assets to achieve client marketing objectives and consistently exceed revenue targets.
  • Efficiently Work the Sales Process: The ideal candidate is experienced at prospecting, cold-calling, appointment setting, presenting, and closing deals.
  • Build & Leverage Senior Level Client Relationships: The Sales Manager must be visible within the advertising community and be able to develop high level relationships.
  • Create Client Programs That Exceed Objectives: Client success is critical and he/she must possess a strong sales background with the ability to develop creative and strategic programs that meet marketing objectives.
  • Work Cross-Functionally to Accomplish Goals: He/she must be able to identify the strategic components necessary to drive success and work collaboratively internally to accomplish goals.
Requirements:The requirements for the Sales Manager are as follows:
  • Online/Mobile Sales Experience: Minimum of four years of online sales experience required. Experience selling integrated web plus mobile advertising solutions preferred.
  • Proven Track Record of Success: He/she must possess a proven track record delivering strong and consistent sales growth while consistently exceeding revenue targets.
  • Excellent Analytical Skills: The Sales Manager must be able to analyze performance data and provide optimization recommendations to maximize campaigns.
  • Strong Communication & Presentation Skills: Dynamic presentation, public speaking, and written communication skills are required.
  • Thrive in a Startup Environment: He/she must thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly-changing, do-it-yourself startup culture.
  • Terrific Attitude & Passion: The role requires an enthusiastic and hardworking person who thrives in a team environment and exudes passion for TuneIn’s unique platform and value proposition.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year college or university is required.
