This position is located in Kearny Mesa, area in San Diego CA.
8 or 9-hour shift, weekends as needed.
Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
Three (3)-five (5) years of web analytics and digital data analysis required.
Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.
Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics required.
Adwords and Webtrends experience a plus.
Position leads the efforts to define key performance indicators (KPI’s) and institutional dashboards for Sharp Entity Marketing and Leadership Teams based on business goals and marketing campaign results with minimal supervision. Candidate will capture and display data in clear, simple dashboards and will identify opportunities that ultimately lead to business growth.
Candidate will develop and run reports from Google Analytics for senior leaders and business units, and collaborate with business units and IT to develop clear business and measurement goals. Position will make recommendations for optimizing the performance of digital properties and programs based on Google Analytics data.
The Digital Analyst will develop and effectively communicate best practices for analyzing online behaviors, configuring and implementing web analytics technologies, and interpreting data for Sharp HealthCare. He/she will provide the Digital Marketing Manager with Analytics data, support and recommendations.
The Digital Analyst will use strong presentation skills to communicate recommendations to Sharp stakeholders who are not web experts. He/she will gain buy-ins and support from stakeholders, and advise and collaborate with advertising team to implement, measure and optimize all online advertising campaigns.
Position will communicate and coordinate with key internal stakeholders on a regular basis. He/she will manage clients’ expectations regarding timing and deliverables. Candidate will recommend and implement tools to enable tracking including user interface assessment tools, conversion and site optimization testing methods, and other tools to drive actions on insights into the business.
Digital Analyst will monitor web analytic trends in Google Analytics to determine new strategies and recommendations for best online reporting measurement processes. He/she will understand and apply best practices and usability standards based on analytical data.
Position will lead QA of all new data analysis functionality. He/she will collaborate with IT to ensure integrity of user support and issues management. Candidate will participates at a high level in the implementation of new technology or upgrade to current technologies, and create help and other technical documentation.
Candidate will maintain currency in emerging online marketing strategies and user needs. He/she will support Advertising Team and Digital Team with marketing strategies, and make recommendations for performance improvement and optimize marketing campaigns to increase referring traffic and audience engagement.
Digital Analyst will support efforts to optimize paid search campaigns. Candidate will assess needs and marketing opportunities.
Candidate must use independent judgment and creativity to develop and recommend strategies for improvement and solutions.
The Sharp Digital team consists of 13 people who oversee all strategy, design, content, research, enhancements and marketing of Sharp's internal and external web and mobile properties. Although positioned in a large organization, the team functions like a web start-up with many roles cross-functional, and input and support across the department a requirement.
Sharp System Services have campuses located in the communities of Kearny Mesa and Serra Mesa and consist of the Spectrum location, the Ruffin Road location and Sharp Operations Center (SOC). These offices provide the centralized integrated system support services to the operating entities within the system. These services include: Strategic Planning, Business Development, Information Technology, Compliance, Internal Audit, Legal, Risk Management and Insurance, Contracts, Human Resources, Facilities Management and Development, Clinical Effectiveness, Finance, Nursing, Systems Supply Chain Services, Marketing and Communications, The Sharp Experience and Sharp University.

Position requires the ability to sit at desk and use computer keyboard for extended periods of time. Ability to handle stress related to multiple competing priorities, Web production projects, and meeting client needs. Ability to walk, stand, bend, hear, speak, and write as well as attend regular meetings on site and off site. Occasionally may be asked to extend beyond an 8-hour day. Ability to lift 25 lbs.
