The Digital Communications Lead will assist in the conception and execution of content strategy for both internal and external digital communications channels. This resource will partner with the Communications team and other technical resources to participate in features and functionality development, taking into account user experience in alignment with brand goals to establish consistency and message prioritization.

You will provide expert consultation to colleagues and senior executives and high-level project sponsors and should be comfortable and confident providing guidance within a complex, challenging project landscape.
•At a minimum, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, Communications or other relevant liberal arts major.
•Masters degree in Communications, Media, Journalism or Library Information Sciences would be preferred.
•The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years in a similar role addressing large-scale online content initiatives.
•A practical understanding of how online solutions can be effectively deployed as operational communications channels.
•Strong writing skills; passionate about the value of content to the enterprise. Define content scope and approach in alignment with business objectives, editorial best practices, and operational realities.
•Strong knowledge of Web industry and content management principles.
•Can design elegant, impactful online content solutions that support Novelis’ business objectives.
•Leverages web analysis, customer data, usability studies, survey data and market data to bring a highly informed point of view to content marketing planning.
•Acumen with SEO strategies with a track record of success with organic search efforts.
•Ability to negotiate with ease and to affect desired results.
