Digital Engagement Analyst Department: Integrated Marketing and Communications

Intro: A new position has been created to assist the Office of Integrated Marketing and Communications in establishing best practices for engaging online users’ experience and community growth.

Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for analyzing online data and making recommendations using social and web analytics applications. The Digital Engagement Analyst will possess superior analytical ability and a curious mind and have technical knowledge/functional expertise in social media, web engagement, marketing and measurement as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications: Requirements include the following: an Associate’s degree; a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business technology or related discipline is preferred; 2+ years experience working in social media for higher education, a corporate organization, or an advertising agency; 2+ years experience with Google Analytics, Radian 6, Hub Spot, Omniture, Webtrends, Akexa, or Comscore is desirable. A Marketing Certificate with a concentration in Social Media and Web Analytics or a Certificate in Social Media Technologies and Implementation are also preferred.
