The Digital Graphics Designer is accountable for creating online-based creative graphics and developing Web pages that contain a variety of content. Graphics should give the created pages a visually striking appearance that is appealing to TTI customers and Web visitors to the TTI family of websites. The Digital Graphics Designer ’s responsibilities include interactive web pages, banners, microsites, and complete marketing mini-sites.
The Digital Graphics Designer creates eye-catching experiences with minimal input and direction and believes in the benefits of providing multiple creative concepts for stakeholder feedback.
Graphic and Web page design - Creates a compelling and consistent digital experience across all of the TTI sites guided by best practices and existing style guides. Prolifically create attractive assets for use on company Web sites, in email marketing and in advertising campaigns. Proactively conceptualize, refine, and present new features for the corporate Websites.
Continuous Design Improvement - Responsible for the maintenance of standards and continuous process improvement based on current trends and proven theories. This position has a finger on the pulse of current trends in Web Design and champions new ideas and opportunities.
Online Brand Identity - Creates campaigns and collateral that accurately reflect the direction and image of the company while showcasing TTI ’s digital capabilities. All Web design initiatives should integrate well with current TTI publications and marketing efforts to strengthen the overall TTI brand.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in Graphic Design, Online Media, or a related field.
Manage workflow and deadlines on multiple, simultaneous projects while working closely the Web Content team Manager, Web developers and ad agency to create, design, and execute online campaigns.
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
Adept with Adobe Creative Suite, including Dreamweaver and Photoshop.
HTML, DHTML, or XHTML literate with strong CSS skills. (XML experience is a plus)
Skilled and proficient in using an enterprise Content Management System for Web site page building and maintenance.
Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills.
Self-starter with a strong work ethic.
Inquisitive with strong attention to detail.
Ability to coordinate and work on multiple projects over a short and long timelines.
Strong understanding of the elements of the Internet and websites.
Strong communication skills to interact, in both a technical and non-technical manner.
Proficient using both Macintosh OS X and Windows-based computers.
General SEO knowledge with understanding of search engine Web crawlers.
