Job Description The Digital IC Design Engineer will be working on developing a new series charger ICs and high current power supplies used in consumer electronics devices. This candidate will need to keep pace with the evolving consumer market using very short design cycles and producing high quality products.

Location Irvine, CA

Responsibilities • Design digital circuits using Verilog/VHDL language

• Exam system-level architectural tradeoffs and write up design documents

• Define digital design architecture, design digital RTL and circuits

• Perform digital design verification and behavioral modeling

• Develop and execute design verification and lab validation plan

• Involved in synthesis, LEC, static timing analysis, DFT, scan insertion, ATPG

• Perform back-annotated simulation verification

• Support mixed-signal design verification and simulations

• Involved in emulation platform development and lab debugging

Qualifications • 10-year hands-on experience in digital design for mixed-signal and power management ICs

• Demonstrated experience in RTL coding/digital design: finite state machines, multiple clock domains, and interface management

• Proficient in RTL coding, simulation and synthesis • Proficient in related languages/tools: Verilog/VHDL, Unix/Perl, C, and Matlab

• In-depth knowledge on design for low power and design for test

• Familiar with IO interfaces (I2C, SPI, USB) and USB charging protocols

• Experience with FPGA, digital design timing closure and P&R is a plus

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as hands-on lab debugging skills

• Highly motivated, product and customer oriented, strong ownership and openness

Education BSEE or BSCS if required (MSEE preferred)
