Digital Marketing Operations Analyst

comScore, a global leader in providing analytics for the digital world, is seeking a self-motivated and numbers-savvy Digital Marketing Operations Analyst at our corporate headquarters in Reston, VA. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has CRM reporting experience, the skills to manipulate data and the hunger to grow as a marketer. You’ll join a motivated team focused on keeping comScore’s momentum going.


Our company interprets big data to understand customer insights. We need a Marketing Analyst who can do the same for reporting on our digital marketing and help to identify Sales-ready leads based on their digital activity. The Marketing Analyst will analytics support from demand generation to lead qualification and customer retention efforts. The ideal candidate is assertive, an excellent communicator, eager to learn and takes the initiative to get things done.

Use marketing automation tools and Salesforce CRM to provide in-flight and post-campaign analysis based on inquiries, responses and won opportunities
• Analyze and interpret data around online prospect activity and customer segments
• Develop campaign performance benchmarks and ROI reporting capabilities
• Ensure marketing activities maintain data quality standards
• Coordinate and manage marketing pipeline reporting
• Track and evaluate lead source effectiveness and marketing influence
• Assign sales-ready leads to the appropriate sales team member
• Identify and route sales opportunities
• Perform ad-hoc analytics projects to communicate marketing effectiveness and identify areas of improvement
    Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline
    • Strong Excel skills are a must; familiarity with other data tools is a plus
    • Salesforce operations experience strongly preferred
    • One to two years prior work experience or exceptional recent graduate
    • Razor-sharp verbal and quantitative skills
    • Independent worker able to take initiative, recognize potential for process improvement and meet deadlines
    • Understanding of CRM, marketing and sales process for B2B technology company
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize with autonomy to support business objectives in an extremely fast-paced environment
