We are seeking a proven Digital Marketing Data Analyst to join our Digital Marketing team to focus on Web metric analysis and other digital marketing and e-Commerce efforts within our organization to broaden our vital business relationships.
DUTIES
Evaluate business goals and objectives from multiple business teams, developing tracking / tagging strategies for all teams to measure success.
Create meaningful database segmentation and ensure tailored messages and pitches are created for targeted audiences across specific market segments, industries and roles.
Manage direct digital marketing and lead generation vendors, including negotiating pricing and terms. Fulfill submissions for third-party syndication and other lead generation programs.
Ensure data integrity and testing processes are followed across the enterprise for multiple reporting and research tools. Work with internal and vendor support teams to report and resolve data discrepancies.
Work with business units to define, and implement analytic tools used for determining a variety of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); traffic volume, ROI, conversions, drop-off, etc.
Subject matter expertise in web analytics, media measurement, or database analytics.
Develop reporting that leads to actionable product and marketing insights relating to consumer behavior (including mobile and web applications), site performance, new feature development, testing, monetization and campaign performance.
Develop and implement customized / automated dashboards.
Prepare and run standard and ad hoc reports with analysis and interpretation of data from multiple business units.
Partner closely with creative, media and delivery management teams to ensure that projects are developed, created and implemented within the parameters of the project outline.
Drive insight from data to make suggestions concerning both the site experience and business performance.
Perform regular testing to insure online issues are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner.
Establish credibility throughout the organization by providing actionable analytic information and data.
Provide strategic points of view around emerging digital media trends that have an impact on the business units.
Provide leadership on best practices related to web analytics, A/B and multivariate testing, competitive analysis and website measurement.
Attend training sessions and disseminate the information within the eMarketing Solutions team and other business units.
Team with Director of Digital Marketing to communicate program progress and
results on a monthly basis.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
BA or BS in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or other relevant high tech related field.
Demonstrated technical skills and 4+ years of experience in digital marketing data analytics.
Must be fluent in the search landscape, including search engine algorithms and ranking strategies
Experienced with Google Analytics, or similar web analytics tools.
Experienced with CRM systems, Salesforce.com experience a plus.
Experienced with keyword research and search engine ranking and analysis tools.
Skills/Knowledge/Competencies:
Strong project and people management skills with the ability to lead projects and teams
Ability to lead others in data analytics best practices and also contributes to team activities
Passion and knowledge of marketing data analytics strategies and tactics, as well as experience with the principles of online marketing and lead generation
Ability to seek out opportunities to recommend process or program improvements and train others
Professional experience in report building and database management
Ability to work within a large matrix organization and have the understanding of how and when to escalate issues or challenges
Ability to establish new processes, track promotions and provide accurate reports
Strong personal interaction and communication skills, working as a team member internally and working with strategic partners externally
Experience with best practices for editing, proofreading, grammatical rules, and optimized writing techniques
Data-driven mindset; demonstrated prowess in analyzing and interpreting complex data including using advanced Excel (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, statistical analysis)
Exceptional planning and project management skills
Superior attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task and work with in tight deadlines
