We are currently seeking a Digital Marketing Strategist to help our Clients achieve specific business goals. This role primarily involves campaign planning, execution and management. He or she identifies key channels, competitors, and audiences for Clients and assesses risks for transitioning from traditional to digital marketing campaigns. In addition, the Digital Marketing Strategist supports the development of the Digital Marketing Solution by developing content, and presentations.
An ideal candidate is capable of prioritizing and sequencing an action plan to translate a marketing strategy into deliverables. He or she should be creative and can contribute fresh ideas using current technologies. He or she should also have experience working with both Clients and other internal teams. Acquity Group specifically desires a candidate with experience managing cross-channel integration and management and expertise in mobile, social networking, or search conversion technologies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform detailed evaluation of client business environments and the market they sell in, including capabilities/assets, brand aspirations, customer needs, platform assessments, and competitive realities to identify unique market opportunities and threats within the digital space.
Develop effective marketing strategies and tactical implementations, including key themes, value proposition, compelling competitive advantages, success metrics and digital product recommendations, in alignment with financial risk for switching from offline tools to online.
Develop action plan for integration of corporate and digital marketing plans in alignment with offline marketing plans.
Work closely with client representatives and Acquity Group SMEs throughout project to refine deliverables and meet expectations.
Establish market positioning for any Customer facing touch-points through cross-channel activities, such as eCommerce, Social, Mobile, and Digital Marketing, for lead generation and use of micro sites.
Identify and correlate emerging trends within the digital landscape that Clients can benefit from.
7-10 years of relevant experience: interactive marketing strategy, interactive agency work
Past experience managing teams of employees is a plus
Experience with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and familiarity with web technologies, including HTML/CSS, Flash, AJAX, other rich media is required
Experience with Visio and MS Project is a plus
Bachelors Degree required preferably in Business Administration, Interactive Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Product Development or Marketing Communications; MBA is desired
50% more or less depending on project; candidate should be comfortable with travel and overtime as client commitment requires
