LocalEdge, the leader in digital marketing, is seeking a Digital Media Executive responsible for B2B, New Business, Outside Sales, selling our suite of on line marketing products to businesses within the local market. In this position, you will perform new business development, prospecting, and research on area customers, meet with clients to perform a needs assessment, and present an integrated digital marketing solution comprised of a full array of our digital portfolio in order to produce maximum visibility and value to meet each customer’s unique needs.
• Develops and strategizes prospects, including identifying vertical markets, small to large corporations, etc. as potential sales leads
• Thoroughly prepares each sales call, researching the client’s current marketing efforts, performing fact-finding to understand the client’s business, and create a proposal showcasing our digital solution and how that will meet their needs
• Meets all assigned sales goals all objectives for digital sales as established. This includes updating the CRM, managing and reporting on pipeline activity, managing performance to metrics, and participating in sales meetings and training sessions.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of outside sales, B2B, with special consideration given to candidates with interactive, media or advertising background. Must have a proven track record of new business development, and solid experience working with large companies, with preference for industry market segment expertise.
A high energy level and the ability to self motivate is key to success. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting to all levels of executives and business owners. Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, are required. Must have valid driver’s license and have use of a reliable vehicle.
