Position Title: Digital Media Assistant (PART-TIME)
Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Digital Media Assistant will provide support to students using the student digital media facilities. The Digital Media Assistant will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the room, station, and equipment reservation system as well as providing software assistance and technical assistance to students using the facilities. The Digital Media Assistant will also be responsible for opening the facilities, closing the facilities, and monitoring activities. The Digital Media Assistant reports to the Digital Media Coordinator.
Minimum one (1) year experience working with industry standard equipment and software including Mac OS and software such as Adobe Creative Suite- Flash, Dreamweaver, PhotoShop, Final Cut Studio and Logic Studio.
Collegiate course work in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Film or similar field required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Must be able to learn new information quickly. Must have effective written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work with technicians and students to assist in the creation of inter-disciplinary multi-media works of art.
This position requires local travel. Ability to move from one office to another office on campus. Ability to lift up to 50 (fifty) pounds. Adequate vision, hearing and manual dexterity to interact with people in person, on the phone and in writing. Job takes place in normal environmental conditions.

Position may require non-standard work hours (nights and weekends).
