The Digital Media Specialist will work directly with the Richmond Media Group’s complete digital portfolio including legacy websites, mobile sites, mobile apps, email newsletters, social media audience and niche products. The specialist will be a member of the audience team where audience growth and acquiring new audience is a priority.
The Digital Media Specialist will work across departments and will have a role in content creation and management; process development; and special projects. The specialist will lead small and large projects that include content, marketing and revenue goals.
Knowledge of current media trends is essential.
Required Skills and Experience: Experience planning content- or advertising-driven projects and collaborating with editors and colleagues across departments. The ability to write and edit news content and publish the content using various content management systems. Content includes, but is not limited to, articles; special report packages; web and mobile landing pages; photo galleries; video; social media; and databases. A Bachelor's Degree is required.
