Knowledge and passion for sports as well as familiarity/experience in digital media is required.
Duties: The Promotions Manager will deliver imaginative, ground-breaking digital programs for advertisers across all sports. The primary focus of this position is digital promotions, but will also work on integrated deals to help garner incremental revenue for Turner.
Working closely with Ad Sales, Digital Production and the Linear Marketing team, the Promotions Manager will develop new sponsorship strategies and custom programs providing clients with a multi-platform marketing experience.
Develop a suite of compelling sponsorship opportunities, custom promotional concepts, case studies and guidelines to be used for digital solutions.
Generate new business opportunities that will exceed budget goals by working with linear marketing team and other TD groups to create completely integrated sponsorship packages.
Work with the production team to establish new sponsorship and promotional strategies for the sports digital sites and for all the linear events (I.e. Wide open, PGA Champs, MLB Playoffs, NBA etc)
Write strategic proposals for Clients that concisely illustrate the strategy, advantages, breadth and depth of digital only programs
Coordinate digital sports proposals and strategies with other sites within the TSID network (example: NBA.com/CartoonNetwork.com Kellogg s opp)
Work closely with the leagues to ensure that all pitches adhere to League guidelines and practices
Create and Manage the RFP process with Ad Sales
Present cross-platform marketing proposals with Ad Sales to clients and agencies, acting as a representative of Digital Sports Marketing.
Work closely with Producers to ensure Production and RFP processes coordinate.
Measure success of each campaign and develop optimization tactics to send.
Act as a liaison between sports linear and digital teams to ensure that information is being shared and that both teams are working to garner the most media $$ for Turner
Work with sales and post-sale teams to effectively develop and transition sold programs to the execution team in Atlanta
Must be able to juggle multiple projects and requests and meet aggressive deadlines.
