The Role
The purpose of this new role is to be a sales leader in the newly created ResearchNow Digital division. We are partnering with one of the top global providers of Online Behavioural data and creating a unique global proposition and a stand-alone business-unit to manage and sell this product.

ResearchNow is well known in the research industry with over 3,000 clients. Being a sales director within the ResearchNow Digital division represents an opportunity to join a new division in the expanding segment of digital media research industry.

ResearchNow is looking for a leader who is an expert in digital ad-effectiveness research, behavioural research and currently works with agency, publisher and/or corporate clients. The ideal candidate will be self motivated, creative minded, entrepreneurial, creative and fun—w/ proven business development/ account management skills, and a track record of working with cross functional teams.

The focus of the position will be to sell our digital solutions including digital and cross media ad effectiveness products to corporate, agency and publisher clients. The ideal candidate will have existing relationships they can leverage to sell in the digital product suite directly to clients. An ideal fit would be someone w/ ad-measurement or behavioural research experience or someone working in the digital media industry who has spent considerable time helping clients measure their marketing activities (agency/ media-company).

Responsibilities of the position will include:
Sell the digital suite of products including ADimension, OnDimension and Site Dimension.

Build and a manage a sales pipeline to enable achievement of sales goals.

Work with the VP of Digital Research and the GM of RN Digital to help refine product offerings, deliverables and pricing.

Successfully achieve predefined sales and strategic objectives.

In collaboration with the VP of Research and the GM of RN Digital create sales presentations and case studies that can be leveraged in the sales process.

Work closely with our Ops and research teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.

Essential Skills

Hands-on approach - not afraid to deal with all aspects of business (sales, strategy, ops, marketing, PD, recruitment etc.)

Knowledge and field sales experience of Digital and Online Behavioural services (ComScore, Hitwise, Compete, Dynamic Logic etc.)

Creative thinker in the digital space and an interested in creating something “new” by leveraging new and emerging technologies.

Minimum of bachelor's degree and 10+ years professional experience, or advanced degree and 5+ years of professional experience

High level of commercial awareness - identifying opportunities, structuring a deal, negotiating and closing sales.

Proven ability to deliver consistent results against financial targets over an extended period of time.

High personal drive and ability to influence internally and externally.

Strong communication, presentation and time management skills.

Desirable Skills

Evidence of selling complex solutions to multiple contacts

Understanding of market research and consumer privacy issues.

A high intellect individual who combines proven sales ability with analytical excellence, superior communication skills (presentation and written) and an ability to build strong client relationships.

Highly organized but flexible with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines with demanding quality requirements.

Experienced with MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the ability to learn and utilize software sales tools specific to comScore.
