Boston Globe Media is seeking an aggressive results-oriented sales representative to sell a broad range of Boston.com and BostonGlobe.com advertising products and services. This individual will have responsibility for increasing revenues from existing accounts as well as identifying and closing new revenue opportunities. You will utilize strategic selling and prospecting techniques, execute sales calls and manage accounts to secure the highest level of customer satisfaction. - BS/BA Degree preferred
- 3+ years of outside sales experience in online sales as with the local digital agency community and media buyers
- Outstanding prospecting, scripting and lead sourcing skills
- Outstanding communication, questioning, listening and relationship-building skills
- Work effectively in a team environment, exerting positive influence and serving as a team resource.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Strong data entry/typing skills. Comfort and familiarity with CRM systems.
