The Digital Specialist is a full-time position. This ideal candidate will need to be familiar with social media, have a strong work ethic, a professional attitude, and a desire to excel within a start-up environment. They will work directly with the account management team as a social media instrument for clients. This position will be based in our Scottsdale, AZ office.This position will perform a variety of different duties to ensure clients receive comprehensive social media. The Digital Specialist will be in charge of establishing and maintaining their clients online reputation. The Social Media Specialist will do the behind the scenes work, providing daily monitoring, posting, and updating for their clients. This position currently reports to the Digital Specialist Supervisor, but this is subject to change. Digital Specialist primary duties include but are not limited to: Assist in setting up, updating, and building social media sites Daily monitoring of each clients review sites and social media sites Create and maintain visible presence on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and other social media platforms. Utilizing social media monitoring tools and analyzing the data to provide detailed analysis documents that trend social media performance Monitoring the social media landscape and related trends through seminars, research, blogging, etc. Creating daily posts updates' to various social media websites Emailing clients daily with updates of the status of their social media environment Developing a set of best practices, recommended rules of engagement, and innovative initiatives for the use of various digital/social/mobile media. Researching relevant social media content and understanding ongoing social media changes and innovations Researching and developing dealership and brand specific content for posting including: automotive sales and service specials, significant products or amenities the dealership offers, and outstanding achievements or developments by an automotive brand Building a relationship with your account manager
High school degree required and 4 year college degree preferred. Financial, Marketing, Communications Excellent consulting, writing, editing and communication skills, knowledge of proper grammar and spelling Superior social media knowledge with high proficiency in programs such as of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Yelp Experienced builder and executer of online social media set up Proficient in MS Office specifically: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Gmail and/or Microsoft Outlook A proven track record of being extremely professional with prospects, customers and internal team members High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities. Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented Able to take direction and work in a team environment Experience working in social media a plus Knowledge of CRM systems and project management tools such as Basecamp' is a plus Prior automotive industry experience is a plus Positive, self-starter attitude and desire to exceed at every opportunity. Attention to detail Ability to adapt to changes quickly and effectively within your job
