The Digital Specialist plays a key role at Taylor. They are responsible for day to day digital/social media execution for leading-category consumer brands and, often times, they will also lead the creative ideation around those digital and social media programs. They should have a very strong grasp of the accounts they support and more specifically, the tone of the brand and competitive landscape; they will often times serve as the voice of the brand within social media. They will also be expected to educate internal staff on digital trends and insights. C ore responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to, running the community manager program(s), identifying relevant industry trends and their impact to the client, measurement tracking/reporting, education and social influencer engagement. Outline of typical responsibilities: · Responsible for day to day digital/social media execution on account · Provide ongoing, proactive strategic digital and social media counsel · Play community manager role on social network and microblogging platforms · Participation and sometimes lead social influencer campaigns – including strategy and engagement · Social media reporting and measurement as well as analysis of competitive presence in social media · Integrate closely with account leads and Taylor’s Brand Counsel Group, which includes brand planners and members of the consumer insights team · Assist in ongoing digital education of internal staff and training of appropriate team members · Support internal priorities of the digital practice, specifically related to growth of Taylor Digital and overall agency marketing efforts Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of and interest in social media and digital marketing
Minimum of 2-3 years of digital/social media experience, ideally in a marketing services / agency environment
Ability to grasp complex concepts and systems quickly, and express them in simple ways
Strong presentation, writing and overall communication skills
Proactive self-starter who can work well both independently and as part of a team
Organized, accurate, and has an attention to detail
