-In this position, you will primarily be responsible for dining room service, floor service and dishwashing.
-Other related responsibilities will be assigned as directed by supervisory staff.
-Set up food on self-serving lines and portion food for individual servings in accordance with instructions
-Refill cold bars, salad bars, pastry cabinets, condiments, juice dispensers, and set up dining rooms.
-Replace glassware, dishes and silverware and refill condiment containers. Wipe and wash tables and countertops
-Clean work area, utensils and equipment; remove garbage; mop floors, walls, windows and tables
-Remove dirty dishes, glasses and silverware from serving counters. Mix washing solutions and operate electric dish washing machine and/or wash dishes, glassware, pots and pans and kitchen utensils by hand.
∙Maintain in a sanitary condition equipment and work areas, utensils and tables ∙Perform warewashing,
and keep pot and pan areas in order prior to, during and after meals. Follow correct
techniques, cleaning schedules and tasks. ∙Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
∙Participate in all other training required by funding source(s) and/or the Corporation such as Human
-Adhere to all local, state and federal safety and environmental codes, ordinances, standards and laws.
-Adhere to all corporate and local safety plans, policies, practices and standards.
-Be aware of and follow all safety rules of your work site.
-Report any unsafe conditions or accidents to your supervisor.
-Practice standard precautions (formerly universal precautions) at all times.
-Participate in mandatory or available safety training.
Positive attitude, ability to follow instructions, willingness to learn new skills and good team player. A HS Diploma or a GED-equivalent and a minimum of one year of experience working in food services preferred. All candidates must pass required background and drug screenings.
This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule; including holiday and weekend hours. Employees are required to provide their own transportation.
Below is a generic overview of the times different shifts would begin and end in order to give you a basic idea of the times one would work on any given shift. These are subject to change based on a manager's needs.
Morning Shift: 6:00am-2:00pm
Evening Shift: 12:00pm-8:00pm
