Directs and coordinates the operations of Materials Management,consisting of: central service copy center,general store,inventory management ,mail distribution and purchasing.
Develops,plans and coordinates the activity of the Material Management Department with the objective of providing a smooth,uninterrupted flow of supplies and/or equipment for the health care facility,at the lowest effective cost possible.
Prepares and justifies various budgets for Departments inolved with materials management. Prepares and submits reports,policy and procedure manuals,job descriptions,criteria based performance evaluations on a timely matter.
Requirements
Associates Degree or equivalent freom a two-year college or technical school- Required
Bachelors Preferred
5-8 years related experience and/or training
Experience in supply chain management- Strongly Preferred
