Oversees the development and sustainment of the Corporation’s Talent Management strategy, provides the organization with Talent Management best practices solutions ensuring business requirements are achieved. This role is also accountable for the effective delivery and continuous improvement of talent management processes, programs, tools and practices.
Worker characteristics are normally acquired through completion of an undergraduate four-year program, prefer a Master's Degree, and at least 10 years of experience in Organizational Development, Talent Management.
Prefer training/learning certifications from reputable training organizations (i.e. American Society of Training and Development [ASTD] or Center for Creative Leadership, etc.)
Strong analytical abilities with ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data, with the ability to think deeply and systemically about business problems, and presenting creative solutions.
Must have experience leading a team of direct reports and setting leadership strategy.
Lead the execution of the Talent Strategy, including partnering with HR Business Partners, and business leaders to implement the strategy in the context of the various businesses strategic plans.
Conducts leadership assessments, using a combination of assessment tools, writes assessment reports, and provides feedback to senior level executives.
Accurately observes behaviors, objectively assesses the competence and development potential of individuals, creates appropriate courses of action based on those assessments and effectively communicates those assessments and recommended actions to others.
Excellent facilitation, consulting, communication and influencing skills across organizational levels.
Technically savvy with the Ability to utilize HR systems to obtain data for analysis and reports.
Ability to travel up to 10% and adhere to a regular full-time work schedule.
