Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA) Required:
·Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement.
·Successful completion of in-house training program or other approved program.
·Candidate must possess ability to exercise sound and reasonable judgment, apply initiative and work with little supervision.
·Ability to prioritize work and multi task.
·Ability to communicate effectively and interact positively with all clients as well as fellow associates.
·Must be knowledgeable and familiar with PC's.
·Use and knowledge of standard office equipment, proficiency in data entry/typing.
Direct Banker - Sales & Service Specialist - More than your bank. Your banker.
M-F,40 hours per week
Job Duties / Details of Direct Banker:
·Receives incoming calls, which are predominantly routine, but may require deviation from standard screens, scripts and procedures and provide client service with the objective of extending contact to sell new or additional products and/or services.
·Handles incoming calls with intent of providing client satisfaction and retention. Selling is the primary function of this position.
·Requires extensive knowledge as to the structure of the company and its products and services to maximize the profit potential of each client via the telephone. This individual must be able to handle multiple tasks and have strong organizational skills. Additionally, this individual will be required to meet and track monthly sales goals.
·Follow up on sales and service requests.
·Cross-sell relevant products and services and refer clients to other departments, as appropriate.
·Originates consumer loan and credit card applications.
·Submit research requests, maintenance requests and error resolutions.
·Quote consumer, commercial and real estate loan information.
·Grants loan extensions, based on approved guidelines.
·Via use of a personal computer, summon client data and transactions and appropriately updates account records.
·Keep records of number of calls processed.
·Attends necessary sales and product training sessions in order to maintain sales proficiency.
·Assists in other areas of the department during peak times, when needed.
Provides additional support to manager and department colleagues.
