Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, help promote operational efficiency and achievement of sales goals for the Consumer Research department by analyzing and preparing a variety of strategic and performance based analytics and reports that identify successes, challenges, trends and ensure solid decision-making capabilities.

Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite, with advanced-level emphasis on Excel and Access databases.
Must be familiar with a forecasting/reporting tool, such as Brio/Hyperion, EssBase, Oracle, Crystal reports or other report writing software and databases.
Must be detail oriented with high degree of accuracy on work output.
Strong organization and time management skills required in order to work independently in a fast paced environment.
Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively across multiple functions and levels.

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration or related field of study or any equivalent combination of relevant background, skills and experience.
4-6 years of related business or report analysis experience in a sales environment.
Understands and analyzes key business drivers/KPIs in order develop analytics, such as forecasting reports, conversion reports, lead generation reports, result analyses, individual productivity reports and statistical narratives, that illustrate emerging and current business trends. Reviews and analyzes results and consults Manager on findings using a combination of industry trends and company results to make strategic and effective business recommendations.
Develops sales reporting processes and reports that can be used by management and sales team leaders to promote goal achievement through data and address any data related inquiries; Confers with Consumer Research management team to ensure all supporting metrics are optimal in quality. Makes improvements related to data as necessary.
Researches, analyzes, evaluates and tracks sales contests, sales incentives, promotional campaigns, manual adjustments, compensation expenditures against budget and current economic conditions to determine if they affect the organizations ability to sell its products or services in the marketplace, as well as, any associated costs and ROI; Applies changes to individual or total targets and/or sales as necessary.
Identifies new opportunities for analysis that impact the business unit and makes appropriate recommendations, such as changes to current sales techniques, procedures or promotional efforts based on data analysis and business trends, to SVP, Consumer Research..
Develops forecasting and sales management reporting processes to improve sales reporting capabilities, promote goal achievement and increase automation. Standardize reporting processes as necessary.
Collaborates with Information Technology to define, develop and implement sales reports and reporting system; Identifies data integrity issues and assist IT in resolving any related concerns.
Explores various sales scenarios by manipulating data that may include independent and dependent variables; Provides ad-hoc analysis and support as needed.
Maintains current knowledge of industry current trends and external business related events that may directly and/or indirectly affect the company and consumer research strategies.
