WRNN-TV is rapidly expanding its Sales team and is adding a new role as a Direct Response Sales Executive based in Rye Brook, New York. The Direct Response Sales Executive is responsible for growing and managing the direct response sales efforts
Drive direct response sales for WRNN’s networks.
Growing existing accounts through effective up-selling and renewals.
Develops and maintains an annual goal and plan document to meet sales quota.
Identifying and closing new business opportunities through both warm and cold calling.
Building strong relationships with direct advertisers that lead to sales.
Create and present sales materials, including e-mails, proposals and presentations.
5 plus years of short form sales experience preferred.
Experience networking and establishing new relationships with key players at agencies and direct response advertisers.
Experience selling performance/metric driven ads. • Ability to consultatively work with clients to create creative solutions to their advertising needs.
Strong written oral communication skills.
Multi-platform/integrated sales experience in ad network, digital publishing, or online media preferred.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor’s degree.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Strong network of contacts at agencies and direct advertisers.
Track record of success in identifying and closing new business opportunities.
Knowledge of the internet and related technologies.
Strong MS Office skills (Word/ PowerPoint/ Excel).
VCI experience preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of the infomercial and shopping industry and marketplace.
Excellent presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills required.
