Direct Sales Representative
Work Location: 11505 West Dodge Road
Reports to: Direct Sales Supervisor, J. Johnson
Pay Range: Base plus Commission (20/80 pay mix)
Total Target Compensation: $60,000
Work Days: Flexible Hours
Under general supervision, maximize sales penetration of voice, video, data, and auxiliary services to new and existing residential customers within assigned territory to ensure that the goals for new customer penetration and penetration lift are met within assigned areas.
'Assures a quality representation of company services through presentations to potential and current subscribers.
'Solicit customers through door-to door sales, events and scheduled appointments in order to maximize sales of Cox Communication products.
'Develop relationships with prospective and existing customers to assure customer satisfaction.
'Maintain accurate sales records and other related documents.
'Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
'Skills in selling and promoting.
'Excellent interpersonal skills.
'Proven oral and written communication skills.
'Ability to meet with prospective customers at their residence.
'Ability to work a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends.
'Ability to prioritize and organize work schedule and work with minimal supervision.
Education and Experience:
'High school diploma or equivalent.
'One year sales experience (outside sales preferred).
'Valid Drivers License with a good driving history.
'See well enough to read manuals and operate motor vehicle.
'Dexterity to operate small hand tools.
'Hear and speak well enough to communicate in person or on the telephone.
'Mobility to meet with customers at their residence and the ability to move from one residence to another.
