- Achieve a monthly sales quota for obtaining new business in assigned territories in a residential market.
- Utilize door-to-door knocking and cold calling techniques, distribute marketing materials, and participate in Special Sales Events to cultivate personal sales leads.
- Make both in-home and telephone presentations to residential customers for Cable Television, Local/Long Distance Telephone and High-Speed Cable Modem Internet services and service bundles.
- Up-sell current and new customers.
- Attend mandatory sales meetings; report sales statistics accurately and promptly to management.
- Assist in resolving customer issues.
- Assist with training and mentoring for new hires.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Previous direct selling experience is preferred.
- Sales or Marketing background in the telecommunications industry desired.
- Excellent communication, organizational, relationship building, presentation and influence skills are essential.
- Strong team orientation, customer service-minded, and flexibility are a must.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle for getting to and from assigned territories.
- Bi-lingual a plus.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is a must.
Compensation is base + commission. Annual total target comp = $72,000 (25k base + 47k commission potential). 2 weeks vacation, 5 personal days, 6 company holidays, health, dental vision, disability, life insurance, 401k.
