Time Warner Cable's Sales Department currently seeks Direct Sales Representatives for the Staten Island, Brooklyn, Hudson Valley and Queens, NY market. Please find below a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Essential Job Functions:
Successful track record with sales quotas and target goals.
Gain in-depth knowledge of our innovative offerings, products and services.
A persistent self-starter who can effectively highlight our products and how they compare to our competitors in order to influence new customers.
Have current knowledge and understanding of the Cable, Satellite or Telecom Industries.
Will target former customers, door to door, to position and sell all of Time Warner Cable's product sets, including, but not limited to Digital Phone, Video, High-Speed internet service and Mobile Internet products and other ancillary offerings.
Each month the Direct Sales Representatives (DSRs) will be assigned and responsible for targeting former portfolio of Time Warner Cable customer homes to win back.
Portfolios may change as business climate varies.
DSRs must achieve and maintain the minimum performance standards as communicated by the senior sales leadership team.
DSRs are required to work a 40 hour work week.
Must have a valid NY, NJ, CT or PA driver's license along with a clean and satisfactory driving record. Car required
All WSR's must have a vehicle registered in their name to conduct business.
A Bachelor degree is preferred.
Prefer 5+ years sales experience preferably in the Telecom industry.
Must have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable presenting to small groups.
Representatives should be energetic; articulate; confident and persuasive.
