Time Warner Cable's Sales Department currently seeks Direct Sales Supervisor for Queens, NY. Please find below a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Essential Job Functions:
Will be expected to manage a team of direct sales representatives. Ensure representatives meet or exceeds established sales goals. Ensure all representatives selling in accordance with properly authorized company policies. Submit new strategies and budget proposals. Provide sales results and feedback on promotional campaigns and overall competitive awareness. Inspect unworkable addressed returned by the sales staff, such as vacant, voids and deletes of assigned issuance. Audit and validate completed sales. Coordinate and facilitate missed or problem installations with sales reps, customers and technical department. Verify accuracy and reconciliation of gross sales check in vs. completed sales orders and payroll for Direct Sales Rep's. Prepare reports as direct by management. Interview and evaluate potential candidates for observations sheet on Direct Sales Rep's and report findings to management.
Bachelor's Degree preferred; a minimum of five years of sales and leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Should have knowledge of the cable industry. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to work evenings and weekends. Must have a valid driver's license from either: NY, NY, CT or PA along with a clean and satisfactory driving record.
