Work with Senior Director in management of the national brand advertising and marketing campaigns including partnership marketing and cause-related marketing campaigns and initiatives.

  • Work in conjunction with Senior Director in the execution of national brand advertising and marketing campaigns
  • Create, launch and facilitate implementation of League-wide initiatives including Event Days (Jackie Robinson Day, Mother's Day) focusing on:
    • External partner management
    • Club activation
    • Coordination with all MLB constituents
  • Oversee League-wide events and programs from ideation to execution including management of staff
  • Serve as point of contact for Clubs regarding special initiatives
  • Lead team for large-scale event activation, including Jewel Events (Opening Day, All-Star Week, Postseason)
  • Manage the development and implementation of multi-platform, integrated marketing initiatives
  • Support Advertising and Marketing Department on a variety of ongoing, special projects
  • Performs related duties as required
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising or marketing and a minimum of 6 to 8 years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Partnership management experience (serve as departmental representative/team lead working with external partners – corporate, philanthropic, multi-stakeholders, etc)
  • Strong project management experience (responsible for overseeing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, communicating with team, delivering results)
  • Demonstrated baseball acumen
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and interest in sports marketing
  • Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced atmosphere
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical skills, demonstrated initiative, and the ability to exercise sound decision-making skills
  • Excellent computer aptitude including working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
  • Extensive knowledge of traditional and social media
