As a Director, Analytic Consulting, you apply your knowledge of advanced analytic tools and our solutions to address your client’s core business issues. Through your insights and advice, you develop true trusted advisor relationships with your clients and colleagues that lead to high levels of client satisfaction.
Candidate may live in New York area, Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington D.C, Bay Area or Seattle
§ Develop relationships with leaders in your clients’ research group as well as the marketing group.
§ Develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships with your direct client contact(s).
§ Immerse yourself in the world of your clients - be aware of key trends affecting their industry & key challenges they face internally.
§ As appropriate, participate in client discovery sessions leading up to questionnaire development.
§ Articulate clear expectations for business performance within your team.
§ Collaborate with your colleagues in Analytic Operations on the research design.
§ Expertise in up front design, project management, and interpretation and presentation of results in techniques such as
§ Segmentation: cluster analysis, classification trees, latent class approaches
§ Trade off analysis: conjoint, discrete choice, maximum differences
§ Lead analytic meetings/team discussions (when required) and communicate clients' issues to the full team.
§ Ensure final research solution is designed to satisfy your client's central questions/issues.
§ Work closely with Analytic Operations colleagues to ensure quality excellence
§ Foster innovation and creativity throughout your team.
§ Live and breathe collaboration and cascade this down to all team members.
§ Deliver outstanding, insightful analysis aligned to the analytic plan.
§ Be able to deliver meta-analyses where required.
§ Proactively synthesizes learning across multiple sources in order to deliver compelling stories and, when appropriate, to make recommendations.
§ Masters in Statistics, MBA, Master of Marketing Research or other applied quantitative discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the responsibilities of the job. PhD a plus
§ Minimum five (5) years of experience working in a marketing and/or advanced analytics role.
§ Progressive experience providing consultation and insights to external and/or internal clients.
§ Professional services experience preferred
§ Proficient in the application of advanced statistical techniques used in quantitative analysis.
§ Ability to synthesize information across multiple sources and tell interesting and compelling stories.
§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to summarize and present information in a way that provides clarity and interest.
§ Knowledge of business models, objectives, financial metrics, etc. used in decision-making; ability to build sound business cases to support initiatives.
Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with external clients and internal colleagues across the organization.
§ Ability to influence Business Leaders; strong consultation and negotiation skills.
§ Ability to manage multiple demands simultaneously and meet deadlines.
§ Excellent problem-solving skills; strong ability to proactively identify and implement effective solutions.
§ Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook required
