We currently have an opening in our St. Louis Park office for a Director, Business Process Management. This role has broad strategic influence and will be exercised through:

Acting as a champion for the role Business Process Improvement can play in improving the business in alignment with strategy and objectives.
Leading, coaching and facilitating process improvement teams and assuming responsibility for several related and simultaneous process improvement projects a year which will result in improved operational efficiency, customer loyalty and employee satisfaction.
Determining and developing the Business Process Improvement (BPI) service offerings, setting the strategic direction and developing and executing the business and resource plan for the BPI practice.
Serves as a transformation agent to champion innovative initiatives at the enterprise, staff or business unit level. Under minimal supervision, independently manages initiatives of significant scope and complexity.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Manages project teams tasked with reengineering processes and designing new processes to deliver cost savings and improved levels of productivity, service and quality.
Establish business performance metrics to measure the business’s capability to meet business objectives. Develop sustainable continuous improvement systems and culture to achieve more efficient results.
Provide leadership in implementation and improvement of company process improvement efforts leading to superior business results.
Lead, coach, instruct, and develop process owners and improvement teams in the definition, documentation, measurement, analysis, improvement and control of business processes.
Leads the development of projects and resultant project plans through project teams comprised of experts across various businesses and support functions.
Presents project plans, analysis, alternative recommendations, and cost benefit analyses to appropriate stakeholders, executives, senior management and the steering committees while leading the evaluation, definition and development of project parameters goals and timeframes
Initiates and ensures the implementation of projects within the major strategic program with the involvement of the key selected contributors.
Determines and leads the initiative to develop the service levels and performance metrics to support the strategic direction.
Leads team responsible for analysis, support and process improvement by identifying, evaluating, and implementing procedures that are cost-effective and meet business requirements. Provides support for key activities including analysis, requirements definition, implementation and change management impacts.
Oversees the establishment of project teams, assignment of responsibilities, management of changes required for departmental support of new processes and facilitation of regular meetings in order to meet project goals and timelines. Informs all appropriate personnel of department’s plans, programs and operations that affect their areas, and encourages feedback from all employees to increase productivity.
Identifies recruits, selects and manages project team members and provides oversight and direction to team. Develops department’s employees through orientation, training, establishment of objectives, communication of rules, and constructive discipline.
Manages multiple initiatives of significant scope and complexity. Leads and facilitates cross-functional, collaborative teams in transformational initiatives using business architecture principles to ensure target state is achieved.
Develops training materials and educates partners and peers on strategies, processes, and procedures.

Skills and Experience Required:
Bachelors in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.
10+ years of experience in program management, business architecture, process improvement or change management
Process improvement education or and/or Six Sigma Greenbelt/Blackbelt is preferred.
Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills for managing multiple, diverse and conflicting activities and project teams.
Proven success at driving change and implementing business systems in complex and diverse organizations across multi-region and multi-business boundaries.
Significant experience facilitating large, cross-functional work groups.
Experience operating in a highly collaborative environment with a strong ability to influence.
Demonstrated experience of operating at a similar level of seniority – breadth of knowledge/experience at a senior level of operation will have encompassed a proven track record in change management, project management and organizational learning/professional development.
Knowledge/experience gained within retail financial services/money transfer would be highly desirable.
First class project management skills will be required. Able to manage outcomes to timeline.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to deal with a wide customer set, whose skill bases and objectives may differ.
Able to work with in a matrix reporting environment, build and maintain strong relationships with peers, stakeholders and direct reports who will largely be based remotely.
Solution driven with the willingness and ability to implement innovative ideas to improve processes and procedures.
Excellent presentational skills - able to give a polished presentation in a variety of formats, informal and formal.
Ability to influence at a senior level gaining commitment and buy in on overall improvement.
Able to work in a culturally diverse and changing environment.

Special Considerations:
Travel (domestic and international) may be required.
