The Director, Business Transformation will support the VP, BPM in providing services to the Commodities & Commercial Markets business units to facilitate the solution of high level business problems and lead business transformation efforts across the Segment.

Responsibilities:
Lead initiatives and process improvement efforts, combining extensive hands-on experience with change management and business process management tools and techniques for problem-solving with a strong drive for results.

In close collaboration with business leadership, use analysis and appropriate documentation of current business operations to identify and define opportunities that most closely support the business’ strategic goals and recommend areas of improvement.

Demonstrate financial acumen by building sound business cases that are understood by team members and supported by sponsors and executive leadership.

Provide expertise and advice to Segment, Business Unit, Departments and individual team members to accomplish the desired outcomes and be an active, visible coach to business leadership and executives sponsoring initiatives to ensure they are consistent with the overall strategy and operational goals.

Develop a working knowledge of CCM business lines and functions, and establish credibility with experts and business leaders in that area in a short period of time.

Drive completion of key deliverables and work with the sponsors to develop business cases, coordinate funding approvals, measure benefits, maintain project plans etc.

Act as an effective facilitator in discussions, meetings and workshop settings.

Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and success of individual changes.

Perform training and development of staff around problem- solving tools and concepts

Qualifications

Required:
Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred

5-10 years experience in business transformation, process improvement and/or change management roles

Lean/Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience with problem-solving methodologies; experience with both small and large scale business transformation, organizational transformation and process redesign

Business-savvy individual who can understand the business objectives and value of a project quickly and easily

Strong leader who can work effectively with senior business executives and cross functional teams

Financial acumen and ability to develop

compelling business cases – tie operating metrics to the financial metrics

Highly developed communication, facilitation and influencing skills, including ability to present effectively to senior executive audiences

Strong analytical mindset, able to tell compelling stories from data

Nimble, able to change direction quickly and efficiently to maximize impact to the organization

Preferred:
Statistical modeling skills a plus

Exposure to Agile/Scrum project management methodologies a plus

Experience with WorkOut methodology a plus

Design for Six Sigma (DMADV methodology)
