As Director, he/she reports directly to the Executive Director, Cancer Center and is responsible for the coordination and supervision of the daily operations of the Enloe Regional Cancer Center. He/she collaborates with the Medical Directors of Medical Oncology, Infusion Therapy, Hospice and Radiation Oncology. He/she has overall responsibility for the operational, quality, human resource, and financial management of services in his/her departments. The Director plans, and coordinates the implementation, and evaluation of department programs/services including regulatory and clinical aspects. He/she coordinates the services through leadership and collaboration through high visibility and interaction in each of the managed departments and with colleagues throughout the Medical Center.
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:
Five years administrative and management experience of an outpatient center
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Business Administration or other related field
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in an Oncology setting
Licensed RN or other clinical degree
Advanced healthcare administrative training
Master degree in related field

Must be familiar with regulatory bodies, e.g., JCAHO, that influence the industry, and other applicable regulatory requirements, i.e., HIPAA, Title XXII, Medicare Conditions of Participation, etc. Familiarity with California healthcare industry issues and California legislature that affects the industry is desirable.
