USfalcon possesses explicit experience and associated resources & capabilities with direct applicability to the Department of Defenses space and missile defense mission. In support of this corporate growth area USfalcon’s goal is to identify and hire senior capture management personnel to augment the existing staff in the National Capital Region. The successful candidate while meeting the basic requirements articulated below must possess the initiative to identify, pursue, and ultimately capture business aligned with the USfalcon experiences and R&C’s, as well as, identify R&C needs to meet future customer needs. The successful candidates will furthermore possess the ability to assimilate complex associations to determine the appropriate course of action.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
10+ years experience leading the capture of $100M+ defense programs within the DoD environment. This is to include successfully leading the capture of stand-alone awards as well as IDIQ opportunities.
15 years capture management experience in DoD market space.
Active Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
Master’s degree in a technical field.
Ability to acquire a Top Secret security clearance.
Shipley Trained.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated experience and success in business opportunity identification, qualification, pursuit.
Demonstrated capability for solving problems with the company’s competitive positioning, analyzing opportunities and appropriately assessing their value to the company, developing capture plans, teaming relationships, and marketing strategies for specific programs or opportunities, evaluating solicitations, and appropriately defining resource requirements and budgets.
Significant experience with Government or Commercial business development and capture activities and processes.
High level of proficiency working with and understanding of federal government products, systems and services procurement processes, and full working knowledge of federal procurement regulations (the FAR and Agency Specific Supplements).
Ability to improve awareness of brand and capabilities within assigned customer set and geographic area.
Ability to establish a solid working relationship with customers, technical staff, managers and peers.
Experience with the capture of F&O as well as SBSA opportunities.


Organize and plan for the overall baseline offering, strategies and themes and winning themes by taking an active, hands-on, developmental role in all facets of capture planning and transitioning effort to proposal planning at the appropriate stage including development of appropriate reality models with management and the pricing staff, identification of and development of risks and risk-mitigation strategies, analysis of the company’s competition and formulation of plans to develop and maintain advantage, and monitoring the status of proposal development to ensure progress toward the defined schedule.
Identify new business opportunities that align with the capabilities and competencies of the company, support the company’s strategic direction, and position the company to meet assigned growth goals; focusing on capturing business in the Combat Support Agency and COCOMs.
Work with Leadership and Program Managers to develop capture strategies, call plans, and focused presentations and reports to prospective clients.
Market, capture and secure programs within the federal government market, and ensure compliance with RFP/RFQ requirements and the Federal Acquisition Regulations.
Work with business development (BD) leadership to identify new business opportunities in line within the core competencies of USfalcon.
Perform the opportunity research and qualification part of the business development/capture cycle.
Work with BD and operations teams to develop business case and present compelling arguments for pursuing new opportunities.
Cultivate and manage teaming arrangements required for specific opportunities.
Prepare reports and briefs management regarding the status of specific capture activities and problems, issues or conflicts requiring resolution.
Develop and estimate the price to win.
Ensure that all organization activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.
Represents the company at key and important meetings and symposiums with government customers, and at awards honoring USfalcon.
