The Director of Case Management reports to the Vice President of Patient Care Services/Chief Nursing Officer and leads the overall operations of the Case Management department. The Director ensures cost effective use of human and material resources in delivering case management services. Responsibilities include management of length of stay, observation patients, utilization review, care coordination and discharge planning. The Director assists with RAC reviews, denial claims and works with the physician advisor on complex cases. The position also works closely with the Finance/revenue cycle team.
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and certification in Case Management strongly desired.
