he global processes in the adjustment, administration and analyses of workers compensation, general, employers and auto liability claims related to the worldwide operations of Hilton Worldwide. The Director will collaborate with safety and security to analysis loss data to help prevent accidents to quests and team members to be a key team members in improving our loss experience.

What will I be doing?
Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Monitor major claims in conjunction with RCM's, Third Party Administrator, defense counsel, insurers and other departments as necessary. Recognize potential exposures; provide sufficient reserves to cover ultimate settlement costs. Report to VP Risk Management on all major cases.
Review, approve and authorize all matters that exceed the reserve and settlement authority of the Regional Claims Managers. Report to VP Risk Management all matters that exceed reserve and settlement authority levels.
Oversee audits of defense counsel and pursue appropriate action where needed. Report audit results and action items to VP Risk Management. Maintain a database/profile of all approved defense counsel. Review and approve all requests for rate increase and all new counsel.
Analyze global loss data for workers compensation and liability claims and determine the drivers of costs and develop strategies and actionable tasks for RCM's and vendors that will reduce costs. Develop metrics for measuring effectiveness of claim strategies, RCM's, vendors and outside counsel.
Contract with and manage all claim service providers including the development and implementation of metrics, audit protocols and procedures. Report results and action items to SVP Risk Management.
Supervise the Regional Claims Managers. Develop policies and procedures to train and monitor performance. Direct hiring, evaluation and termination of claims department personnel.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
Four (4) year college degree or significant work experience in lieu thereof
Minimum of ten (10) years of insurance and claims administration including workers compensation, general and employer's liability and high level excess claims
Minimum of five (5) years of managerial experience
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Finance or legal education a plus
Experience with international exposures and associated claims (in particular general & employers liability)
Working knowledge of STARS RMISH.
