Function: Global Infusion Marketing
The Director of Infusion Systems is responsible for developing and launching system level programs which grow our revenue and/or increase profitability, under the direction of the General Manager for Infusion. In addition to managing their direct reports they will coordinate efforts of individual downstream product managers to support these new programs. This position will also be responsible for driving the launch of new products, applications and services across the product portfolio, including coordination of multiple functional areas required to support launches. This position takes a comprehensive, customer view of our existing and new products and designs programs, messaging, and sales tools which tie the portfolio together and allow us to target specific customer segments and/or needs. This position is primarily focused in the U.S. but will also partner to drive alignment for global launches in international markets.

Responsible for $650MM revenues in the U.S. market
• Develops financial and operational objectives
• Works within the constraints of budget, schedule and scope while managing risk and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies.
• Ensures operational plans are aligned with business objectives
• Contributes to global functional strategy development with Marketing leadership
• Has in-depth functional expertise and broad business knowledge
Specific Responsibilities:
• Launch new system level products including interoperability functionality, data products and services, and software applications in FY14.
• Develop comprehensive launch plans for these products including: pricing, positioning, messaging, sales tools and support, training, and demo tools. Also support the completion of the product development process with deliverables from downstream marketing.
• Develop and validate new programs for Infusion which tie our product portfolio together and allow us to segment and target our key customers. This includes determining the value of these new programs based on VOC data and competitive analysis, forecasting new revenue and margin streams, and recommending the types of resources required to support new programs.
• Provide strategic management and leadership for our new product launches, including: 
Pricing and contracting strategies 
Positioning and messaging strategies and tools 
Selling tools and programs 
Identification of new channels and markets 
Product line rationalization and EOL strategies 
Competitive and market analysis 
Financial analysis and trending 
Provide market/customer insights into new product opportunities and assist upstream marketing in validation of new product opportunities as they progress in development. 
Partner with the Infusion Vice President of Strategy and Development to ensure alignment of positioning, pricing, product, and channel strategies 
Collaboration/communication with all customer facing parts of the organization (sales, contracts, CSO, etc.) as well as with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, regulatory, strategic sourcin 
Expand and protect product portfolio by differentiating and leveraging CareFusion as world leader in medical devices across a broad spectrum of technologies with safety centric messaging 
Contribute to a positive team dynamic of high-energy collaboration, operational excellence and results focus.
Skills and Competencies
In depth understanding of EMR/HER software and medical device integration.
• Broad knowledge with U.S Infusion/Hospital customers, Key Opinion Leader (KOLs), regional/national accounts and broad Marketing industry knowledge
• Thorough fluency with all aspects of medical/pharmaceutical sales processes, related regulatory requirements, and sales techniques
• Knowledge of all aspects affecting product growth, life cycle, profitability: including sales, contracting, quality, regulatory, manufacturing, supply chain, and ability to develop strategies related to all of these functions which support desired growth of the portfolio
• Creativity/innovation around programs to support growth in our current platforms
• Analysis and application from Voice of Customer feedback into Downstream Marketing strategies
• Creativity/innovation around programs to support growth in our current platforms
• Business/financial modeling (budgeting, forecast, cost containment, revenue enhancement, due diligence)
• Coaching/mentoring/people development skills
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or Technical Discipline
• 7-10 years experience with healthcare and/or pharmacy experience
• 3+ years experience in management
• Excellent communications, presentation and writing skills
