Evidon, the global leader in revealing the invisible web, is looking for an expert marketing professional to spearhead the growth of our consumer privacy tools, including the Ghostery application, which is used by more than 17 million people worldwide. The right candidate will have a track record of strategizing and using a range of creative tactics to grow downloads of, and engagement with, online consumer tools, as well as perpetuating a strong consumer brand. This position, which is based in New York reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, offers a unique opportunity to work alongside industry thought leaders to create solutions that stem confusion related to online consumer data collection, one of the industry’s most pervasive issues.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
Articulate goals of, devise strategy and create integrated plan for marketing Ghostery and other consumer privacy tools

Drive downloads and usage via :
o Events participation
o Affiliate distribution deals
o Creative promotions
o Creating new assets
o Social marketing
o PR
o Optimizing for SEO

Collaborate with executives and product lead to keep marketing aligned with product and overall company goals

Work closely with outside PR firm

Deliver regular competitive analysis

Guide in-house social media resources in effective community growth tactics

Deliver measurable results on a regular basis

Required Experience Includes:
5+ years experience strategizing and executing integrated consumer marketing plans that drove demonstrable growth

Expert in subscriber growth, demand generation

Strong knowledge of social media/tools

Strong knowledge of online media/advertising/technology

B2B marketing experience a plus

Excellent writing/communication skills

Excellent PowerPoint, MS word skills

Experience in a startup marketing team a plus
