We're looking for an innovative leader and creative problem solver who will build, manage and scale Content Development from 8 to 20+ team members. Reporting to the Vice President of Customer Success, you will be responsible for the overall production, quality, tracking, and workflow of all content. You will plan, manage, oversee and help to define projects from conception through deployment. You will directly manage GuideSpark's Content Development Team and liaise with internal teams to ensure the smooth and successful flow of content. The ideal candidate will combine strong operational skills with a passion for building great customer experiences through engaging content, and who thrives in a high growth start-up environment.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Craft and execute overarching road map for scalable custom content development process and delivery, with high-growth projections and rapid change
  • Oversee the development of production schedules including client facing timelines, status reports, content outlines, all project documentation including client deliverables
  • Manage multi-department function including content production, writing, design, and quality assurance
  • Establish business metrics, set team goals and manage to those goals
  • Develop standards, systems and best practices (both human and technological) for content creation, distribution, maintenance, content retrieval and content repurposing, including the real-time implementation of content strategies
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years experience, with 5+ years experience directly managing people and teams
  • Experience in a high-growth, dynamic organization
  • Leading and motivating people, and encouraging teamwork in a creative work environment
  • Strong operational skills with specific experience developing processes and systems that enable an organization to scale quickly
  • Ability to create the right business metrics and use those metrics to drive the business
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to multi-task and delegate
  • Proven success in team-building, inspiring confidence from the client and within the team
