The Director, Corporate Communications will be responsible for creating, implementing and oversee communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products. The role of corporate communications will be to drive both outbound and internal communications through a well-orchestrated platform.
Activities will include but are not limited to the following areas:
1.Development and deployment of an agency communications plan which includes: speaking engagements, awards submissions, blogger outreach, social strategy, and thought leadership papers
2.Driving outbound public and media relations initiatives including but not limited to speaking engagements with leading industry publishers: AdAge, AdWeek, NYT, FT, Fast Company, Wall Street Journal
3.Build and oversee agency social strategy (youtube, facebook, twitter, agency blog)
4.Creation of new areas and facilitation of agency site and intranet
5.Identify speaking opportunities for agency executives to lead keynotes and relevant topics
6.Manage overall award submission calendar and initiatives
7.Ad-hoc writing assignments for press releases and award submissions
8.Build and oversee agency blog
9.Manage/update agency intranet and website
10.Participate in the development of agency positioning and articles
11.Facilitate development/execution of proprietary events and sponsored programs
12.Manage overall PR agency relationhship
A successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, ability to work within a large global community, and self-motivated. They must have a deep understanding for digital and direct marketing with the ability to work with senior agency personnel to craft agency articles and positioning papers.
