Experience: Minimum of 10 years experience in visual design, advertising, typography and creative management
Education: Bachelor's Degree at a 4 year university degree in Graphic Design or equivalent education or experience.
The Director, Creative Services and Brand Management is responsible for building the Prysm brand, related messaging and the delivery of all creative assets. This person will drive our visual identity, be responsible for delivering all of the creative assets of the company and be entrusted with stewardship of the Prysm brand. The Creative Director inspires creativity and innovative thinking while leading and directing teams at multiple agencies in the conception, design and execution of visual materials.
Accountable as the leading brand champion for the company
Positioning, messaging and telling the story of the Prysm brand
Developing, communicating and driving consistent brand, style, look and feel standards across all Prysm and partner communications vehicles
Setting high standards and being accountable for quality Marcom and creative execution
Working with, leading and directing agencies and contractors on the development of all creative assets. e.g. photography, live product video, video demo content, printed collateral, digital rendering and images, website graphics, PowerPoint templates and presentation polishing, email layout, tradeshow signage, etc.
Designing, planning and executing on-line advertising campaigns, including media plans
Creating a "voice" for Prysm and directing consistent copy writing for anything outside of the product management space. e.g. copy for website, brochures, emails, trade show signage (not user manuals, spec sheets, PRDs)
Facilities branding. Conference Rooms, signs, artwork, look and feel consistent with brand and style guidelines as well as our "voice"
SWAG production and management (e.g. shirts, pens, premiums, giveaways consistent with brand and style guidelines)
Managing expenses to budget for all of the above
Experience working in small and larger companies. Comfortable and confident as a hands on manager working with outside resources
Experience working with small creative agencies
Strong portfolio with examples of recent digital work
Proven ability to lead and motivate creative teams while inspiring confidence and respect
Design experience with a sales-oriented, high-traffic, public-facing website
Creative problem solving ability that must come with smaller budgets
Ability to coordinate multiple, time-sensitive projects and activities simultaneously from concept through completion
Excellent written and verbal communication and persuasion skills
Current experience with Photoshop and Illustrator, Flash, HTML, CSS, or Java experience a plus
