We are seeking a Director-Level DPI Practice Liaison to serve as the bridge between CEB’s Digital Products & Innovation (DPI) group and CEB’s Sales and Marketing and Financial Services practices. The Director will support business unit leaders on optimizing the organization, production, and maintenance of intellectual property on their business units’ websites while shepherding adoption and implementation of new and upgraded Web functionality within the business units. As DPI’s primary liaison to the business units’ leadership teams, the Practice Liaison Director will provide critical input to the prioritization of the firm’s web product and technical roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:
Digital Operations

Direct the digital operations for assigned business units; oversee all digital project management within the business units

Ensure stakeholders' publishing needs are appropriately prioritized based upon business needs and addressed by India-based publishing team

Influence prioritization/allocation of digital center of excellence (DPI) resources; capture business short-term digital needs as well as influence direction of longer-term digital investments

Provide updates to business partners regarding DPI's ongoing initiatives, future plans, and advancements; meet regularly with business partners to discuss web metrics and how to improve; serve as point person with business unit stakeholders regarding digital needs.

Strategic Management

Partner with business points of contact to represent business unit's long-term business and member needs to DPI for consideration as it develops its digital roadmap.

Develop and provide education to teach business stakeholders about the latest digital capabilities; help bring these capabilities to market to enable achievement of business objectives.

Partner with business unit stakeholders to drive strategies and tactics identified by DPI Analytics to significantly improve business unit web engagement metrics

Provide input/requirements to Platform Managers (i.e. Discussions/Data/Tools) as they develop strategic platform roadmaps

Communicate business and customer benefits associated with DPI strategic agenda and web release decisions to key practice stakeholders

Digital Content Management

Provide input and requirements to digital centers of excellence in the development of style guides, component libraries, editorial calendar templates, and workflow models

Provide advice to research partners on usage of web page components and templates; develop wireframes to ensure pages meet digital standards and will achieve stakeholder outcomes

Lead change management within business units to standardize firm-wide content strategy approach

Leadership/Staff Development

Manage, support, and oversee development of 1 Deputy Practice Liasion

Mentor and coach members of broader DPI team; support the evolution of India-based Web publishing team.


Role Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or related-Master’s degree a plus

8-10 years of related experience

Experience advising business partners on digital content strategy

Experience with change management and client management

Exceptional client service ethic; comfort in communicating directly with senior executives

Facile at solving business problems with technical solutions

Proven competence managing tasks from beginning to end with strict adherence to deadlines

Excellent oral and written communication skills

As DPI group is new within CEB, the ideal candidate will possess a high tolerance for ambiguity and self-drive to succeed within a “start-up” environment; candidate should also have experience and comfort facilitating change management within a highly matrixed organization.
