A&M’s Retail Enterprise Performance Management and Business Intelligence (BPM/EPM/BI) group is in need of an experienced Director.

Responsibilities:

A&M’s Retail group focuses on key areas of an organization, whether advisory or tactical supporting Senior Management, Corporate, IT, Finance, Operations, Merchandising, e-Commerce or Marketing. Our projects usually begin with an assessment and move into a planning solution implementation with business process improvement or re-engineering activities, supporting a fast paced retail environment.

Responsibilities will include the following, depending on the project focus:
  • Retail advisory and strategic leadership in the specific focus area of expertise
  • Requirements Workshops: facilitate, working with users to understand, challenge and document current and visionary processes
  • Provide directional guidance on processes leveraging - development tool
  • Process review / improvement /re-engineering
    • Create process flows, RACI diagrams, value stream mappinglanning calendar optimization
  • Lead KPI utilization and report review/analysis
    • Determine use, optimize, offer options for improvement
  • Create project execution deliverables:
    • Project plans, process flows
    • Business requirements document, KPI inventory, data dictionary
  • Lead training and change management
  • Identify new A&M client opportunities through connections to industry executives
  • Facilitate development of new relationships within existing clients through discussions of challenges in departments across the organization
  • Assist in developing thought leadership and industry solutions in the specific focus area of expertise
  • Participate in presentations to prospects advising on specific focus area of expertise

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will possess the following minimum levels of skill and/or experience:
  • BA/BS
  • Hyperion experience (preferred)
  • MBA preferred
  • Planning cycle knowledge | accounting close | merchandising or e-Commerce activities
  • Consulting and/or Industry Experience – in related Focus Area (both a plus)
  • Management | Sr. Management role w/in select focus area
  • Project Management, IT Change Management | Training and Strategic technology visioning
  • Process flow | Improvement | Re-engineering
  • Liaison capability; between Users | Management | Technical teams
  • Eight plus (8+) years’ experience
  • Willingness to travel 60 - 80%
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required
