This vital position is responsible for the integrity of all Company financial data and serves as an integral business partner to the CFO as well as Executive team members. It ensures the budgeting and forecasting process is accurate and reliable and internal control procedures are followed throughout the Company. The Director, FP&A also has primary financial reporting responsibility including providing timely, independent, accurate financial information to all levels of Company management. This role will work extremely close with our delivery organization to drive change in operational performance and will interface extensively with others in sales, marketing and G&A.

The ideal candidate is a well-rounded senior Finance leader who has the:

Analytical skills to dissect business economics and develop the tools needed to support profit-oriented decision-making;

Accounting background to understand complex financial reporting and disclosure issues (e.g., revenue recognition, cost accounting, and business combinations);

Desire to dig deep into details and correct as needed

Strong aptitude for process design, project management, and systems skills to develop scalable and sustainable business processes

Presence and communication skills to interact with senior levels, primarily Vice Presidents, on a full range of topics and issues

An extremely high degree of accuracy and detail orientation with strict adherence to deadlines.

Responsibilities

Lead the Preparation of the annual operating plan, monthly forecasts and re-plan for the entire Company and all lines of business

Accurate and timely preparation and distribution of all monthly, quarterly and annual financial management reporting and performance variance analysis.

Continuously improving the current processes for budgeting, management reporting and forecasting to improve efficiency, accuracy, timeliness and level of support for the business.

Improve revenue, gross margin and earnings by providing insightful data analysis and influencing business leaders through effective communication and analysis

Prepare presentations of forecasts and budget to senior management

Drive the compilation of compensation plans for the Sales and Professional Services functions

Work with operations, finance and other functions throughout the organization to develop tools to improve reporting and analytics for revenue, expense and key business metrics

Responsible for compiling and analyzing profitability by various lines of business or other dimensions of the business

Analyze bookings, revenue, backlog and deferred revenue and communicate to the business opportunities to maximize revenue

Assist in the of existing ERP system enhancements and continued evolution, as well as the selection and implementation of a budgeting and forecasting module

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of financial experience at technology firm experiencing rapid growth as well as experience in a professional services environment

Strong project management and organizational skills

Experience with a services firm required

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; Masters degree and/or CPA preferred.

Demonstrated experience designing, building and implementing an FP&A organization

Exceptionally strong knowledge of financial analysis and reporting techniques

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Attention to detail, but ability to summarize into key points/ actionable items

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities

Proficient in ERP systems and financial reporting tools, experience in Workday a plus

Be comfortable and confident working in a fast paced, dynamic, distributed and high growth environment
