RESPONSIBILITIES  Financial Stewardship of $160mm Revenue for the Tri-State Market  Serve on Leadership Council of Market Solutions Finance Team to assist in setting strategic direction for the operational support and talent development within the organization, as well as broader Corproate Finance  Build relationships with key stakeholders  Provide proactive decision making support to all stakeholders leveraging knowledge about policies, practices, trends, and information affecting the business  Establishes a “tone at the top” that embodies the firm’s culture and ethics  Required to develop and maintain a high caliber workforce to deliver quality services to internal clients.  Responsible for overall accounting team management, staff development and planning. Execute staff succession and growth plans.  Ownership of all Financial Processes within given span of control  Ownership of and responsible for the preparation, management, consolidation and delivery of the annual plan and quarterly reforecast  Responsible for the preparation of analysis and dashboard reporting for local leadership, as well as Corporate.  Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization  Supervise team in the completion of quarterly audit schedules  Review, understand and ensure compliance and proper accounting for transaction deals  Involved in compensation planning process QUALIFICATIONS  Demonstrated leadership across the entire Finance organization – not just on their own team  Inherently Consultative: Builds customer\client-driven environment  Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills  A highly motivated self-starter who works well independently  Ability to read, comprehend and interpret associated legal documents (i.e. contracts, leases)  Detailed oriented and strong organizational skills  Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines  Positive attitude and the ability to quickly respond to co-workers and clients  Excellent written and oral communication skills, proven presentation skills  Demonstrated technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and PeopleSoft  Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks.  Creates order and structure in an ambiguous environment.  Comprehends and analyzes various scenarios and implements the best for the organization  Strategic Manager – Ability to utilize resources to get the most from the team  Sees the big picture; understands the elements of being a global firm.  Maintains laser-focus on critical priorities and deliverables.  Ability to create new solutions or methods to existing problems which have a significant impact on the business  Ability to work with a wide variety of client personalities and levels, exhibiting emotional intelligence  Takes initiative in expanding professional development for themselves and their teams EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE  10+ years experience  BS in Accounting  MBA or CPA, preferred  5+ years of supervisory experience mandatory  Individual must have trained and evaluated staff
