Manhattan Research, a Decision Resources company, is hiring a Director of Global Insights who will take ownership of the company’s research in select emerging markets. This position offers direct interaction with client teams, a challenging work environment, the opportunity for advancement, and the ability to influence marketing and strategic planning decisions with global healthcare and pharmaceutical organizations. In addition to establishing thought leadership through written deliverables, the candidate will establish themselves as an industry expert by presenting key research findings at client meetings, conferences, and industry events.

The primary responsibilities of this position will include the following:

Developing research agenda for surveys of healthcare providers in emerging markets

Creating and delivering compelling, insightful presentations to clients based on the company’s syndicated data sets

Extracting key insights from the data, and answering client questions

Conceptualizing and writing relevant thought pieces and white papers

Staying up-to-date on technology industry trends, especially in countries of focus

Speaking as an expert in global health and technology at industry conferences

Developing strong client relationships with global teams at key pharmaceutical companies

Secondary responsibilities could include, but are not limited to the following:

Responding to client inquiries /questions

Responding to press and media inquiries

Understanding of healthcare trends in emerging markets (including Asia, Americas, Eastern Europe, Africa, Middle East)

Background in pharmaceutical marketing or pharmaceutical market research preferred

Interest in digital media and technology

Experience and interest in public speaking is a must

Industry experience in a related position, such as market research, agency, consulting, or pharma

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree, such as an MBA or another relevant field, is strongly preferred
