The organization is ready and hungry for a talented Director of Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) who knows how to guide them in the quest for becoming a best in class employer. This takes a high energy, courageous and engaging individual that is ready to challenge and to be challenged by exceptionally bright leaders. The Director of GTA will be responsible for fully revamping our global talent acquisition strategy and execution.
Know the business being served at a very deep level; this requires constant engagement with the management team and knowing every element of their business needs.
Develop a high impact employment brand that is tailored for the geographies in which we operate
Assess and improve the entire talent acquisition life cycle, from developing a workforce plan with FP&A, providing a concierge service to hiring managers and creating a candidate experience that is best in class.
Proactively develop a pipeline of candidates ahead of the organizational needs based on a deep talent assessment conducted by the HRBP’s.
Assess and improve our use of social media for brand awareness and acquiring passive talent.
Assess and improve our use of technology products related to streamlining the sourcing and interviewing processes.
Develop a full University Relations program targeting no more than 4 U.S. universities, 2 UK universities and 2 Japanese universities for the first year.
Develop a team of talent acquisition recruiters, sourcers and support personnel that represent the best possible partnering with management and their HR colleagues. Become a thought leader in how a small, dynamic team has the ability to effect far reaching change across the organization.
Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in Human Resources, with a minimum of 5 years in Talent Acquisition and 5 years in a managerial capacity (in any of the major HR functional roles).
BA/Masters or equivalent
Demonstrated ability to operate in an environment with ambiguity and change; adapting to and being a champion for positive change
Leverages strong business acumen and analytic capability to integrate Talent Acquisition and business strategies
Exceptional communication and project management skills
Ability to apply and create “best practice” solutions
Demonstrated ability to take initiate and have a bias for thoughtful action
Skilled at building credibility and effective relationships and is a strong collaborator
Demonstrated proficiency in influencing, negotiating and managing conflict
Solid understanding of global recruitment practices
Resilient with a high level of personal integrity and energy
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
A driven, results-oriented professional with a sense of humor
