Functional Role
The Director of Human Resources is responsible for implementing and managing Human Resource strategies, programs and policies to support organizational goals

Key Responsibilities

Enhance and continually improve the on-boarding process to ensure new colleagues are equipped with the basics to launch a successful career at Crown.

Establish a consultative relationship with operational leaders to ensure compliance with organization policies, procedures and legal obligations of the organization.

Direct core Human Resource functions including payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, employee data management and recordkeeping

Recommend and implement human resources plans and programs that will assist the business in the achievement of targets in revenue growth and profitability.

Manage organizational performance management and feedback programs

Establish and maintain effective company communication programs

Establish and manage programs that drive culture, employee engagement and commitment

Review and recommend improvements to ongoing compensation and benefits programs

Establish and manage a charitable outreach program

Reporting Relationships

Reports to Chief Human Resource Officer


Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Management, Business or related field. An advanced degree and/or SPHR desired.

8 - 10 years of demonstrated success and HR management/leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Proven experience building relationships and teamwork across multiple locations.

Experience providing guidance and consultation as a trusted business partner to operational leadership.

Ability to handle highly confidential information in an appropriate manner

Excellent problem solving skills are required to handle unexpected situations in a timely and appropriate manner.

Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws.

Experience with exempt and nonexempt compensation, compensation planning

Service-focused, with excellent communication, analytical and financial management capabilities.

Proven ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
