Requirements:
Some Examples of Responsibilities:
• Leads, supports, and develops HR staff.
• Develops, implements, evaluates, and directs recruitment and selection process, orientation, and retention programs. Ensures employment practices are followed.
• Administers the performance evaluation process to ensure that job descriptions are current, competencies are completed annually, and evaluations are done in a timely manner.
• Investigates disputes and disciplinary actions. Defends the organization against claims of unemployment and other legal claims.
• Assumes responsibility for successfully complying with federal, state, and local employment and industry laws and regulations in all areas of HR oversight.
• Consults with and provides guidance to directors/managers/leadership team on a wide range of staff areas including recruitment, disciplinary action, performance improvement, policies and procedures, conflict resolution, and terminations.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Hospital Administration is required, Master’s Degree preferred.

Experience: Five (5) years previous job related experience of which one (1) year must be in a management role; Relevant education and/or experience may be substituted for one another in accordance to policy

License/certification: PHR/SPHR preferred.
